Mort-Subite Kriek is a spontaneously fermented beer. To make it, young lambic is mixed in with older lambic before adding Belgian cherries from Tirlemont. The whole thing is then left to age in oak barrels for at least 5 months. Mort-Subite Kriek is a fresh beer with a beautiful vibrant red colour. The acidic flavour is perfectly matched by the taste of lambic and fresh cherries.
