Westmalle Tripel is a clear trappist beer with a golden appearance having refermented in the bottle for three weeks (9.5% alcohol). This complex beer releases fruity aromas and a hoppy fragrance that is as pleasant as it is nuanced. It reveals its silken creamy character on the palate as well as a touch of bitterness that has an underlying aroma of fruit. An exceptional beer, full of finesse and elegance, also characterised by a long and flavoursome aftertaste. Westmalle Tripel is also referred to as the mother of all tripels.
